Meet the Photographer

Randy Moyer is the owner and lead photographer of Randy Moyer Photography, specializing in portrait work including beauty, glamour, professional headshots, and model portfolio development. Based in Iowa City, Randy brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every session.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and retiring from a long career in manufacturing in 2022, Randy shifted full-time into photography with the goal of capturing each client’s unique personality through expressive, high-quality portraiture.

Randy is an active member—and former president—of the Iowa City Camera Club, reflecting a strong commitment to community, collaboration, and artistic growth. Continued education and inspiration are central to the craft, demonstrated through regular attendance at national photography conferences such as ClickCon in Chicago and Shutterfest in St. Louis.

Outside of the studio, Randy enjoys life in Iowa City with family and shares creative work on Instagram at @photographer_at_large. Every portrait session is guided by enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help clients look and feel their best.
